Voter Help Desk
Can I go vote at the polling place if I have a disability?

If you are a voter with a disability, you do not need to vote by absentee ballot. You have the legal right to receive assistance at the polling place by the person of your choice if you need it. A poll worker may not prevent you from getting this help.

Note that the person you choose cannot be your employer or an agent of a union.

If you would like to vote by absentee ballot, you have the right to do so. To register for an absentee ballot, go here. For more information regarding absentee voting, you can visit the Absentee Voting section of this FAQ.
